Tl* the contact owns a 2015 ram 2500. While driving 65 mph, "def system 75 mph speed limit will be limited to 5 mph" appeared on the instrument panel. The contact drove the vehicle to winnie dodge chrysler jeep ram (located at 125 tx-124, winnie, tx 77665, [redacted]) where it was diagnosed that the def fuel pump system failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle has serious issues with it's emissions system. First the egr was replaced at a dealership for $2,000 and they must not have reprogrammed the computer because after the installation the entire exhaust system failed and it went into limp mode at 10 mph and now it is another $7,000 repair. Dodge should be recalling this truck for emissions system problems since it's apparently a known issue.

My vehicle has was has been coined as "dead pedal" the truck will hesitate for a second while accelerating. This problem has been well documented by many other ram diesel truck owners. This will happen when merging into traffic or crossing a street and can be very dangerous.

Pulled out into traffic and the gas pedal did not propel the truck and i was almost hit broadside. It's like the gas pedal took 3-4 seconds to send fuel to the engine and caused the truck to just roll instead of propelling it down the road
