While using the rambox cargo system, a torsion rod popped out and nearly hit me in the face with a lot of force. The torsion rod is one of two used to keep the cargo door open on the rambox. A metal tab that was keeping tension on the torsion rod failed sending the rod towards my face.

Tailgate opens occasionally when driving. I think rams 2015-2017 were recalled for same issue. However it is effecting me as well the recall was u74. Has happened to me at least 8-10 times over past couple years. Yesterday i had cargo that nearly fell out. I have a tailgate assist and a cover so i cant see when it drops.
